He is such an amazing singer, his lyrics are arresting and the way he delivers them shakes my core. Ahhh what a GOD!

I guess that's where I don't agree...

I don't think there are many Irish bands playing songs by:
The McGunks, The Queers, Social Distortion, Screeching Weasel, The Nipple Erectors, Gang Green, Ramones, Dead Kennedy's, Meat Depressed and even a Disney song.

You could at least review the music; not just what it made you think about. Imagine if restaraunt reviews were like this: "[I]Chez Jacque... the very name makes me think of salad greens and bread stricks. Imagine my suprise when a tart bisque was served. Kinda makes me long for Elsie's deli."[/I]

Hey Pete,
I was referring more to the song selection rather than track order. I just thought that a more adventurous choice of material would have made the record stand out. I thought a few of the renditions were terrific, but with this kind of music in this town I would prefer more of the unexpected to balance it out. I would guess that doing that might go against your purpose for making the record in the first place, though, and I know that there's a good number of rockers around here (many of whom we both know) who would disagree with me on my criticisms.

What order would you have put the songs? Who knows..if your suggestion is better...maybe we'll change it.
